Mr. Abdul Rahim’s 37+ years of consultancy and design experience mainly spans over the design and construction of Ports and Maritime structures based on British Standards and other International Codes of practice. In addition to his Maritime experience, Mr. Abdul Rahim leads a team of experienced structural designers covering bridge flyovers, highway structures, and high-rise buildings.
Mr. Abdul Rahim’s Port & Maritime experience is unique as it covers a wide spectrum of steel and concrete harbor quay wall construction, coastal marine works, oil tankers, cargo berths, floating marinas, dolphins, breakwaters, jetties, docks, spillways in addition to container quays, quay furniture, container yards, container crane foundations, crane furniture, Rubber Tired Gantry (RTG) runways, etc.
In addition, Mr. Abdul Rahim’s experience extends to assessing existing quays and jetties for capacity and operational requirements in addition to setting guidelines and providing consultancy for maintenance and refurbishment of jetties, container quays, fenders, heavy duty pavements for container yards, container crane beams, ladders, and other essential port items.
