“Lachen ist die beste Medizin” ….. “Laughter is the best Medicine”
Amidst the hardships we are facing these days, a dummy safety Mannequin in the streets of Dubai, a city well known for its high construction safety standards, made my day.
I passed by this beauty and laughed out loud in the street. I couldn’t help but walking back to take this historical photo of the inspiring Safety Mannequin that will always beat creativity, imagination, and safety.
I got captivated and mesmerized by the jaw dropping displayed ART. I couldn’t define the source of beauty; is it the very long flat edgy wooden arm? or the well tightened vest? or the details of the paper wrapping around the face to allow drawing the eyes and mustache? or maybe the perfect sunglasses? If you zoom in, you will notice some hair details as well as a strap and a chain to secure the sunglasses against time and wind. The belly indicates a good size lunch took place. I’m at a total loss of words.
I want to salute whoever worked on this historical no child’s play mannequin. I also salute the team who selected the location behind the window AC and on the sign under the fence saying:
“Pedestrian Walk Way”
or better say
“Pedestrian Walk Away”
