Pearl Jumeira is a project developed by the famous Meraas Development LLC (Meraas) off the Dubai Coastline. The site is situated adjacent to the Jumeira 1 shoreline north of Jumeira public beach, near the intersection of Al Dhiyafa Road and Jumeira Beach Road. To the west of the site is The World Islands and to the north are the Dubai Dry Docks and Dubai Maritime City.

The reclaimed island has an approximate area of 7,500,500 Sq ft.

Construction work consisted of:

• rock work revetment edge treatments, which acts as both a breakwater and a shoreline stabilizing structure
• beaches
• reclaimed fill supporting residential and commercial buildings and infrastructure.

Consultancy works included observing and monitoring of ground improvement works and review of the construction Method Statements, testing, and analyses of results to assure high quality works and insure the construction got performed as per the agreed upon specifications and guidelines.
